The Wizard of Paws: “There’s no place like a home” benefit dinner and
silent auction, November 8, 2008.
The Columbia Humane Society's The Wizard of Paws auction committee is currently soliciting items for the November 8, 2008 auction. The The Wizard of Paws benefit dinner and silent auction is the Columbia Humane Society's largest fundraising event --last year we brought in over $8,000 and are hoping to exceed that this year.
Items ranged from signed sports memorobilia to jewelry to artwork to vacation packages to luxury pet items and more.

All items are needed by October 10, 2008.
Columbia Humane Society (CHS) would like to invite you to partner with us at our 3rd annual silent auction and charity benefit dinner by becoming a sponsor or advertiser.
As a corporate sponsor, you will receive advertising opportunities in the CHS auction
program, the CHS quarterly newsletter and on our website. It is a chance for your
company to reach out to the community in an innovative and unique way.
With the generous contributions of our sponsors in 2007, we were able to raise over
$8,000! Money raised has supported the care of the animals at our shelter and provided
additional resources for our general operations.
We believe in providing a "no-kill" animal shelter as a model for increasing progressive
thinking and advanced animal stewardship in our community. Columbia Humane Society
promotes spay/neuter, better adoption programs, medical and behavior rehabilitation
for impounded animals and humane education. Your sponsorship of our silent auction
will allow us to continue our work in the community.
By choosing to sponsor this event, you will also make it possible for the Columbia
Humane Society to reach our 2008 auction goal of $10,000.

Join us on November 8, 2008 for an evening of fun and excitement, all to benefit the Columbia Humane Society.
The event will be held from 5:00 to 9:00pm at the Moose Lodge #591 at 57317 Old Portland Road, Warren, Oregon.
