Volunteers are Important!

Volunteer help is necessary in order for CHS to continue our current programs and assist in other necessary ways . . .

Your time and talents are needed to socialize, walk, and train animals, perform general office tasks, and help with fund raising, publicity, and/or public education — to name just a few.

A few hours of your time will make a difference. If you love animals and can spare as little as one morning or afternoon per week, our animals need you!

On-site volunteers, supervised by a paid staff person or experienced volunteer, provide food, water, brushing, love and attention to our animals, and assist with cleaning kennels, washing dishes and laundry, and changing litter boxes and bedding.

We also need volunteers that are willing to go hands on with the funding side of things. Are you interested in joining our Saturday fundraising group? Do you have new ideas or ways that we could improve on our current funding?
Every Saturday (excluding holidays and event days) we meet at 9am at the Warren County Inn Lounge.
If you are willing to work as part of a team and can show up at least two Saturdays per month we would love to see you! Just look for the group with laughter coming from it and join us.
